Many of their commercials which combine eating veggies with sexual themes have been banned from television stations and past Superbowls. Their latest ad which features sexy models getting intimate with vegetables won’t be played during the upcoming 2009 Superbowl because it is too sexual in nature.

PETA’s sexed up advertisements are designed to grab the viewers attention long enough to get their message across. PETA’s slogan is “”Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment,” and their advertisements reflect that.

Katrina Darell decided to audition for a chance to be the next American Idol in a bikini which surprisingly turned out to be a good idea. Thanks to her toned bikini body she is now getting her 15 minutes of fame making headlines across web news sites and gossip blogs today. But it’s not just her body that’s catching everyone’s attention, she’s also making the news because of her conceited attitude.

After auditioning for the judges Katrina Darell did not take criticism from the newest American Idol judge Kara DiGuardi well and rudely told her that her singing was no better than hers. Say what? One thing is for sure the “Bikini Girl” thinks she has what it takes. I don’t think she’ll make it past Hollywood in this American Idol 8th season round but we’ll see. Patrick Swayze’s fans are wishing him the best as he spends time in the hospital with Pneumonia. The public has been supportive of the “Dirty Dancing” star’s battle with terminal pancreatic cancer since he publicly announced his illness in March of 2008.

Recently Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi sat down with Barbara Walters for an exclusive interview. The 20/20 television special titled “Patrick Swayze: The Truth” aired on January 7, 2009. The Swayze special gave viewers an in depth look at Patrick’s struggle with cancer and his outlook on life. Patrick Swayze and his wife also opened up about the deep relationship that they share, a rare romance that has lated for 36 years, 33 of which they have been married.

John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are holding a private memorial service at their home in honor of their son Jett who died on January 2, 2008 after having a seizure. 16 year-old Jett Travolta suffered from a seizure disorder, and was not responding well to medication. At the young age of 2 Jett was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome which may have led to his developmental problems. Others believe that Jett Travolta was misdiagnosed as a child and was actually afflicted with Autism.

John Travolta shared a special connection with his son and made efforts to spend time with him daily, even during hectic filming schedules. John Travolta and Kelly Preston also have an 8 year-old daughter named Ella.

Recently, family friend Tom Cruise talked abou Jett Travolta’s death and what a “horrific” event it is for such “doting parents” to face. Another famous friend, Oprah Winfrey, has not yet made a public statement. Both Tom Cruise and Oprah Winfrey are unable to attend today’s memorial service due to scheduling conflicts.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck married in the Caribbean in 2005. Garner was married once before to actor Scott Foley and divorced in 2004. This is Affleck’s one and only marriage but he did come close to marrying singer Jennifer Lopez after a steamy engagement that lasted until until 2004.

Ben Affleck is currently working on two movies scheduled for 2009; a political thriller “State of Play” and a comedy titled “Extract.”

Jennifer Garner has been busy too, just like her husband she is working on two movies for 2009. Garner will be starring in the comedy “This Side of Truth” and the romantic comedy “The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past this year.”
