Patrick Swayze’s fans are wishing him the best as he spends time in the hospital with Pneumonia. The public has been supportive of the “Dirty Dancing” star’s battle with terminal pancreatic cancer since he publicly announced his illness in March of 2008.
Recently Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi sat down with Barbara Walters for an exclusive interview. The 20/20 television special titled “Patrick Swayze: The Truth” aired on January 7, 2009. The Swayze special gave viewers an in depth look at Patrick’s struggle with cancer and his outlook on life. Patrick Swayze and his wife also opened up about the deep relationship that they share, a rare romance that has lated for 36 years, 33 of which they have been married.
Actors Jennifer Garner , 36, and husband Ben Affleck, 36 have a new family addition for 2009. The couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on January 6. They also have a 3 year-old girl named Violet.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck married in the Caribbean in 2005. Garner was married once before to actor Scott Foley and divorced in 2004. This is Affleck’s one and only marriage but he did come close to marrying singer Jennifer Lopez after a steamy engagement that lasted until until 2004.
Ben Affleck is currently working on two movies scheduled for 2009; a political thriller “State of Play” and a comedy titled “Extract.”
Jennifer Garner has been busy too, just like her husband she is working on two movies for 2009. Garner will be starring in the comedy “This Side of Truth” and the romantic comedy “The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past this year.”
