Sexy PETA Ad Banned From Superbowl 2009

Published by christyzutautas at 2:21 pm under General Edit This

The People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals are known for creating commercial advertisements that are sexual in nature. Major celebrities, including Playboy Playmate Holly Madison, actress Eva Mendes, and model Christy Turlington have posed nude for PETA’s attention grabbing anti-fur ads.

Many of their commercials which combine eating veggies with sexual themes have been banned from television stations and past Superbowls. Their latest ad which features sexy models getting intimate with vegetables won’t be played during the upcoming 2009 Superbowl because it is too sexual in nature.

PETA’s sexed up advertisements are designed to grab the viewers attention long enough to get their message across. PETA’s slogan is “”Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment,” and their advertisements reflect that.

What do you think of the advertisement, is it really too sexy for daytime television?

Maybe this is PETAS way to get free advertising. Make a really sexy ad that is sure to be banned, get people to report on it for free and VIOLA instant success.
